Thank you!

Thank you all for your lovely comments on my Painted Egg pillow and project bags. I have been pressed for time and haven't been able to respond to each comment but please know I really do appreciate all your visits and comments. If you haven't yet commented you have until Wednesday evening to enter the drawing.

As you can see, I managed to repin, relace, and frame my LHN March Sampler. It looks much better in the frame. :o) And...to avoid future mishaps, I cut 3 more pieces of foamcore the CORRECT size.

I hope you all had a happy Monday!

That looks fantastic, Myra. In answer to your question, yes I do make my own frames. A few years ago a framing wholesaler used to retail the moulding, which I stocked up on. Unfortunately they were stopped from offering retail so I only have what I bought at the time. I've found an online framing company that chops the moulding to the size you want and posts the 4 pieces. I then glue and staple them with V-nails and lace my stitching into them. Much cheaper than taking them to a framer.

Love the frame you picked out for the March stitchery--shows it off so nicely. You did such a nice job on the stitchery---totally great!

Ooh; pretty! Good call on cutting the foamcore in advance; save the hassle for your next 3 finishes! :D I think it's so fun that you're gonna have a monthly rotation for a whole year when you're done! :D

It looks wonderful. I really enjoy the frame you chose for it. Compliments your stitching perfectly.

Wonderful framing! I have yet to try framing something on my own - the whole stretching and centering thing scares me.

Enjoy your day!

March looks lovely. I reconize those Clairmont tealight lamps as I used to sell Partylite.
