Did the ground shake?

Did the ground shake at your house last night? Around 10:30 pm EST? Mine did. Nearly scared Lola and Glitter to death.

"Where My Heart Blooms"
Blackbird Designs

The ground was shaking because I was happy dancing about this! LOL

I put in the final stitches around 10:30 last night. Since I started it in January it is about time it was finished doncha think? Now I just have to find the perfect frame as I want to hang it over my mantle in the living room.

I have been pawing through my new stash this morning trying to decide what I want to start next. I am waffling between Halloween Revelry and Wash Day but first I have to head to the orchard this morning because the peaches are ripe.

Anyone have a good recipe for peach jam/jelly/preserves???

Congratulations on your finish! I wondered what that shaking was all about.

Edgar over at Blacksheeps bit of the Web has been making peach jam lately. You could ask him for his recipe maybe.

Have a great weekend!

Myra,

Congratulations on a simply stunning finish!! You did a beautiful job on it.

I'm sure you're going to enjoy it on you wall. I know that I would :)

Enjoy your peaches. I just bought my first ones of the season. They are not ripe yet. I'm hoping they won't disappoint.

Congratulations on a knockout of a finish! :D :D :D

Does this BBD have part of their "Mystery Sampler" on it? Lately I've really been thinking I need to find out which of their charts have the various parts of Mystery on them. I'm asking because the green in this really reminds me of the green in that one.

Enjoy those peaches; I do love a good peach--with some cottage cheese! :D Too bad my present detox diet doesn't allow either! :P Good luck at the orchard, and take a hat to avoid sunburn! :D

I love your finished piece. You did a wonderful job stitching it and the colors are beautiful. As for peaches, I was just thinking of making preserves but don't have an easy recipe everything is too labor intensive for such a hot day. Happy Harvest.

Doing a Happy Dance for you. It is beautiful.

I was in Virginia when the earthquake happened. Didn't feel anything unless I slept thru it, lol.

Back home now and like they say, there is no place like home.

What kind of peach jam?? I have a couple of recipes -- one is for refrigerator jam and the other one is for jam that you keep in a pantry. Do you want both? I can e-mail it to you :)

Do you have this pattern for sale or trade? Have been looking everywhere for it to finish the mystery sampler. BBD Where the Heart Blooms.

Thanks. Peggy
