TUSAL & Pennie Pockets

It is time for my Totally Useless Stitch a Long Update.  :o)  I found a new ort jar and you can see I have managed to put a few new old ragged threads in it.  I am modeling it with some Valentine Pennie Pockets I whipped up in the sewing room this past weekend.  The recipe for the pockets can be found here.

I hope those of you that were bombarded with snow and ice are staying warm, safe, and dry.  I am still behind on my blog reading but hope to catch up soon.   I hope you all have a great weekend!

I have a bunch of little jars, but they are filled with bent pins and used rotary blades. Thread looks much prettier, lol. Love the pouches.

Your TUSAL jar looks like it's been busy.

I love the Pennie Pockets. Sadly, they're far beyond my sewing skills.

I never heard of Pennie Pockets, Myra, but I went to the site and love the idea of filling them with treats, hanging them on a door, and running--reminds me of the old May Day tradition we used to do with flowers as kids.

Beautiful stitching as always and the fabrics all work so well together.

We were lucky to have missed all the snow and ice--our winter has been extremely cold, but I'll take that over what the rest of the country seems to be dealing with!

Your Pennie Pockets are just adorable Myra! Just perfect for Valentine's Day, although I think that I'd keep them out all year round.

Your Pennie Pockets are lovely, Myra. The fabrics are so "valentiney." Love the yo-yo's
Your sewing is just fabulous!
I missed the TUSAL signup but keep my little jar anyway....I'll watch the birds in spring adorn their nests with my threads. They seem to love it here. We have so many nests amid our bushes and lightposts!
