Happy, Happy

Joy, Joy!

"Penny America"
Tree of Life Samplings
28 ct Days Gone By Linen, DMC floss

I finished this up last night just in time to start the Christmas Ornament Challenge today.  I don't know why but it took me forever to stitch this.  I think it had something to do with stitchy distractions but I can't be sure.  :o)  Now I can't decide whether I want to frame it or get some nice wool and make a pillow.

Thank you Faye for letting me borrow your chart, I really enjoyed stitching this one.
Thanks go to Chris as well who snapped me out of my stitching conundrum and convinced me that I needed to go ahead and finish this instead of starting something new.  :o)

I hope you are all off to the start of a great week!

Congratulations on the finish Myra! This is such a great piece, and I love the fabric you picked for it, the colors really pop and it still has a bit of a rustic or primitive touch.

Good luck on the Ornament Challenge, I got a bit delayed in my start.

Looks lovely on that fabric. The right hand-dyed fabric can really enhance a design.

Woo hoo!

Cauldroon, Flag, Side-scallops--this piece has a considerable amount of fill! Also, there is a lot going on with the greenery. It would take anyone a while, methinks!

Very good going, and I say get some nice wool and pillow it up! :D
