TGIF!

Whew!  What a week.  I haven't had time this week to visit your pretty blogs or do much of anything on the computer.  Work has been so tiring and my DH has been having some health issues but I do hope to get caught up on all your creativeness this weekend.

My friend Norma posted on her blog that she was making Valentine ornaments so she could have a Valentine tree.  I couldn't resist the urge to stitch her a little something and here is the result:
This is the February portion of Sylvia's My Little Heart SAL.  Norma has received it and already has it hanging on her little tree.  :o)

I also managed to finish my Christmas ornament for February.

Brittercup Designs from the 2011 JCS Ornament Issue
I had no idea it would be so difficult to finish this in a triangular shape!  It really doesn't have the same angle on both sides so it took some "easing" to make this work for me.  I do love the bit of bling the Krenik metallic red adds and decided to carry that bling out to the trim.

Wishing you all lots of stitching time this Superbowl weekend.    Who are you hoping will win?

Wishing you a much more peaceful week next week and hope your DH is doing much better. I had a busy work week too and that on it's own just exhausted me. I don't think I've stitched all week.

If finishing a triangle ornament was difficult for you it sure doesn't show in the finished product! Looks great and I love the bits of sparkle!

Your ornaments are great! I especially like the one you made for Norma : ) I made that Brittercup design for a friend this past Christmas but didn't dare try to finish it into a tree shape ... lol! I hope your husband is feeling better. Blessings, Shirlee

It sounds like you have a lot going on Myra. I hope your DH is better soon.

Love all your finishes especially the little birdy design.

Weeks like you've had are so wearing--I hope you can "recharge" your batteries this weekend a bit, Myra...

I adore that little Valentine's ornament you made for Norma--how sweetly you finished it, too, with the tiny charm.

Having never done a triangular finish, I can only imagine how difficult it must be. I wonder if it would be easier using a flat type of finish? Good for you for finishing your February ornament (I have to confess, I still have to put the trim on my January one!!).

I'll be routing for the Giants--New England has won way too many times :)
