Finally, A Finish

Howdy friends and neighbors.  It has been a while since I posted - so much going on with work and life.  The Olympics came and went - weren't they great?!  My son says almost every day "I wish the Olympics were still on."  I didn't choose a special project for the Olympics, instead I stitched on and finally finished this:

By The Bay Needleart Mystery
28 ct Antique White Linen/DMC floss

I found the frame at Hobby Lobby that matches the greens in piece perfectly.  Thanks to Donna for conducting such a wonderful Mystery SAL.

I am now working on one of the Hinzeit designs for the shuttle I bought and should have a finish on it in the next week or so.  My stitching plans have been seriously interrupted by my work schedule.  I have hopes this crazy work schedule will resolve in about another month and I can get back to my stitching and blogging.  I managed to visit about a third of the blogs in my reader today and will try to get around to seeing all of you in the next day or two.  I have been seeing some of you starting on those lovely fall designs and they have me wishing for the beautiful autumn colors and the cooler temperature.

Wishing you a wonderful week ahead!  Thank you so much for stopping by.

Great finish - I missed this mystery SAL which is a shame. Lovely to see everyone's finished pieces though.

We have an Olympics hangover in our house, too.

What a beautiful finish Myra. BTB designs are among my favorites.

I hope things settle down for you soon. I know only too well how much life and work can impact stitching time and blogging.

I hope you find time to stitch a few Halloween goodies soon.

It's cooler here this week....a real treat after the summer we've had.

Great job with the stitching and framing Myra! I really enjoyed the Olympics, but even recording and then fast forwarding through a lot they still took up a lot of time to watch. Hopefully work calms down for you soon, and you can get some extra help.
