Distracted

Hello friends! Thank you for all of your compliments on my latest finishes.  I do appreciate them.

I certainly didn't intend to wait so long before announcing the winner of the Lizzie Kate pattern.  Without further ado....the winner is Sally!  Sally, I do hope you enjoy stitching this one as much as I did.

I started stitching a little Christmas piece but became distracted by this:

"The Farmer's Wife"
from Friendship Samplers by With Thy Needle
32 ct Khaki linen/DMC floss

I am trying to determine if I want to "age" it a bit with coffee before I finish it.  I do think it looks nice as is but...

I have also been distracted by these:

I bought these in anticipation of Brenda's next release.  I can hardly wait and I don't think I will have any trouble finding someone to help me eat the chocolates.  :o)

What a cute finish! I don't think I've seen this design before. And I can't wait to see the heart shaped finishes. I've been keeping up to date on Brenda's blog!

Love the little sampler ...such cute people. As for those valentine boxes, oh that one is calling my name too. And I know that emptying them will be the easiest part of the project - LOL!

That is such a cute finish!! I've been toying with the idea of ordering the new release and the Russell Stover boxes. I am falling head over heels for anything Brenda releases these days!

Oh, that is adorable, Myra--and new to me... I'll have to start paying closer attention to Brenda's blog! And you certainly did stock up on the candy--I'm expecting some mighty pretty Valentine's finishes from you this year :)

Nice start! If I lived nearby, I'd help you eat those chocolates but I'm sure they will be gone before the dentist gives me the okay to eat stuff like that. ARGH! Enjoy : )

Love The Farmers Wife! I say go for the "aging". It will look great.
I got the tiny chocolate heart - looking for the larger one, too.

I love your new finish Myra. I know how easily we can get distracted especially with a lovely like this one......adorable. The colors are great.

Maybe I will buy candy boxes for a few friends and ask them to save the box for me "when they are done!"
That way MAYBE I can escape the temptation of emptying my own (haha)

Ha! I bought my candy boxes a couple of days ago, but of course I went out without my list and think I bought the wrong size. So sad, guess I need more chocolate.

Love the cute finish, and I like it just "as-is."
