Garden Update Week 2

My little garden has been growing for 2 weeks now and I can really tell a difference.  The Master Gardener and I headed out to take a picture.  :o)

As you can see, Betty is there to supervise my every move.  Radishes will be the first item to harvest and they are coming along quite nicely.  They only take a month to mature.  You can grow 16 in a square foot using this method.

Since I know some of you might have stopped by to see some stitching, I pulled out a few of my WIP's hoping to "shame" myself into putting in a few stitches.

 "Liberty" - Little House Needleworks

Prairie Schooler - One of the Santas

"Neighborhood Friends" - Little House Needleworks

There are a few more tucked away...I need to take pictures of those as well.  Somewhere along the way I went from stitching and finishing a single project before starting another to starting new projects with wild abandon, paying no attention to how many I might have in various states of completion.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and that you have an even better week ahead!

If Betty is anything like my Dottie Dog, she'll be harvesting from your garden before you will! Dottie loves tomatoes and sugar snap peas the best, but she also likes green beans and carrots.

Your garden looks great! I hope you get to put some stitches in your WIPs too.

Oh yes, Myra, there's a great difference between the picture in your last post and this one. I also love to see the plants grow and have been visiting our small rose bush for many days now because I want to be the first to see the first rose bud open. I hope you will soon be able to eat your first radishes.
You have some very nice stitching projects on the go.

That garden idea is fabulous!
I vote for putting a few stitches into Liberty. You may just get your mojo back!

Nice garden! I planted tomato and cukes in pots on my deck this year. We'll see how that works out. Pretty stitching, too.

Glad to see both your plants and some stitched pieces growing so well, Myra! It's hard to find time for stitching this time of year with all the outdoor activities...

Hope Betty is settling in well :)

I started Liberty two years ago. Must get working on it again.

I have two patriotic patterns languishing... I should really pull them into the mix. What's a couple more?? I have about 12 going this year...but they are all WIPs... nothing new-bought, so that's something! I should go check on our garden... but I am tired today. Work is so stressful... after a day of being tense, I am beat! Enjoy!

Hi Myra, great to hear from you again. Glad Betty seems to be settling in (hope the obedience classes work!!) other than the "bored" moments - too funny! We are back from our vacation which was so badly needed. Love your garden!

Everything is progressing nicely! What is the raised square in the second column?

Beautiful WIPS. We all know how easy it is to get distracted and set something down. Good for you for coming back to these!
