Knock Knock!

Anyone home?  Wow!  It has been over 3 months since I last posted on this here blog.  The dust here nearly took me out.  :o)

Not a lot has happened since we last met.  I developed a severe case of tennis elbow which has brought my stitching and sewing and computing to a screeching halt.  Several visits to the doctor and orthopedist and I am finally getting some relief.  It was to the point I couldn't even lift a glass of water.  I can do very little stitching even now but at least I can use the sewing machine.

I made a few more wonder wallets.  These will make nice little gifts.

I found a pump kit at Hobby Lobby and made a new soap dispenser for my bathroom.  I just love the new blue mason jars and find myself looking for things to make with them.

Betty continues to bring us much joy every day.  She still has issues with the cats along with some pretty severe seperation anxiety but we love her all the same.  Here she is preparing for Sunday football.

Of course Ziggy has to get in on the action.

I also celebrated another birthday in September.  I received some lovely birthday presents but haven't taken the time to snap pictures of those.  Thank you again Carol, Chris, and Vera for making me feel special when I really needed a pick me up.

I am hoping to get my blogging mojo back soon.  For those of you who are still here....thank you!  I appreciate each and every one of you and really do miss our visits.  My life right now just isn't allowing much computer time but I will try my best not to be so scarce in blogland in the future.

Oh, it's so good to see you "back" Myra.
I'm sorry to hear about your elbow. That can be soo painful. Hopefully you are on the mend soon.

As always, your sewing talents are beautiful. The wallets are lovely.

I know well what you mean about our days, sudden curves and schedules keeping us from our blogging time....the same bug has unfortunately bitten me.
I really do miss my blog and blogging friends. I have every good intention of returning to it, hopefully soon.

Betty and Ziggy look great.

Take care my friend. Belated Very Happy Birthday to YOU :)

It is so nice to hear from you! Sorry about the elbow -- sounds painful - and you can't stitch-- horrors! Hope you are on the mend... The wallets are darling and they will be great gifts. I love those blue Mason jars - I have about 3 dozen in my garage. We are going to use them as decorations at my son's wedding next Spring -- such a pretty color. Take care!

I have missed you Myra. Life does have a way of getting in the way of things. I'm sorry to hear about your elbow. I am still messing with my new knee. I thought I'd be much better by now. At least my knee does not interfere with stitching or sewing. I hope you will be much better soon!

Well hello there! Tennis elbow sucks! I dealt with it for almost a year and it severely limited what I could do. Glad to hear you are on the mend. Look forward to your posts.

So good to have you back.
I had tennis elbow for years , when I use to knit all day.,
But I am so lucky now to be free from it, I don't pick up heavy things now even the watering can to water the tomatoes will start it off , so I use the hose.
Take care Myra I do miss seeing your blog.

Sorry to hear about the pain you've been dealing with. I certainly know what it's like to have pain prevent us from doing the things we enjoy. Hoping you'll be pain free very soon. The wallets are adorable.

Hi Myra! Glad you are on the road to recovery! How did your garden grow this summer? Mine was a bust! But it would have died from neglect starting in mid-August with the crisis of my husband anyway. Lovely wallets you made. I hope to carve out some time to do some finishing and try a bit of sewing project stuff this fall. We shall see!

So great to read a new post from you. Welcome back, Myra. BUt not so good to read about your tennis elbow. One of my colleagues was having this too and from her I know how much pain it can cause. It's good that the situation has become better and that you are able to sew a bit with your sewing machine.

Those little wallets you made are so sweet. And I hope that your stitching mojo will soon come back. Maybe with a little Halloween piece?

Nice wonder wallets! I've ordered several for my friends on Etsy, but they have expensive prices there. I wonder if I can stitch something on plain ones.
