My Stitching For The Easter Exchange

Hare Biscornu
The Floss Box
35 ct HDF pale green linen
DMC floss

My Easter exchange traveled all the way to Conny in The Netherlands. I stitched this biscornu with bunnies for her. I enjoyed reading her blog and about her bunny and knew this would be perfect for her. I loved the purple flowers with the green and brown.

And since you can't have bunnies without a carrot, I added a carrot button to the back. :o)

I had even more fun choosing the goodies to send along with her biscornu. I even included my carrot cake recipe. It was fun sending a little bit of spring across the miles.

Is this little ladybug sassy or what?! The minute I saw this I knew I had to stitch the ladybug from this design. She is trying to decide if she wants to be a pillow ornament or a fob. Stay tuned....

Great Mail Day!

Today's mail brought my Easter exchange package from Ellen S. (no blog) She stitched this Lizzie Kate April Stamp and finished it into a little pocket complete with Easter ribbon handle. Isn't it cute? I just love the tiny little buttons. She also sent along some wonderful extras which will be put to good use. Thank you Ellen for making my day special.

This bounty of charts also arrived from Riona at Oubliette. I won her February giveaway of these Homespun Elegance Wooly Tyme Club charts. They are great designs and will be my monthly stitch for next year. (I have to get through the LHN Monthly Samplers this year) I can't decide if I want to give Mini Ziggy a new friend to wear these or if I want to do pinkeeps or little quiltys or, or, or.....OH! the possibilities. I am just thrilled to have won these. They will be offered as a giveaway here once I stitch them.

Thank you!

Thank you all for your lovely comments on my Painted Egg pillow and project bags. I have been pressed for time and haven't been able to respond to each comment but please know I really do appreciate all your visits and comments. If you haven't yet commented you have until Wednesday evening to enter the drawing.

As you can see, I managed to repin, relace, and frame my LHN March Sampler. It looks much better in the frame. :o) And...to avoid future mishaps, I cut 3 more pieces of foamcore the CORRECT size.

I hope you all had a happy Monday!
